Kitz2catz Maine Coons BUYERS -AGREEMENT TERMS OF SALE
• Initial $500 deposit is required to hold your cat, all deposits are non-refundable, but are transferable to another cat.
• If Kitz2catz Maine Coons finds it in the best interest of cat/kitten, Kitz2catz Maine Coons has the right to cancel this sale and refund all monies paid, before buyer takes possession of cat/kitten.
• If for any reason buyer becomes unwilling or able to the cat and provide proper care, food, shelter and medical attention, the above buyer agrees to surrender the cat to Kitz2catz Maine Coons, unconditionally, with no reimbursement or refund to the buyer.
• The buyer agrees that the cat and kittens produced by this cat, will not be sold, traded or given away to any pet shop, laboratory or adoption facility that has any kind of euthanasia practice, be resold or destroyed without notifying Kitz2catz Maine Coons. Entire cats, written agreement for on-sale is required by Kitz2catz Maine Coons.
• If buyer is purchasing the cat as a show quality, buyer may show the cat in shows; however, Kitz2catz Maine Coons no representations or guarantees.
• The cat will not be allowed to roam outdoors unattended or supervised, there is too much risk of injury or loss, and buyer agrees the cat will be indoors only, or health warranty is voided.
• One or more scratching posts, kitty litter trays, fresh Water and dry food will be provided for the cat all all times. The cat will be kept free from pests such as fleas, ear-mites, fungus, worms, etc by example: revolution, advantage of frontline.
• Any kittens bred of the above named cat or resulting from them, will be desexed before leaving the care of the above named Breeder, unless being sold to another registered breeder, who will also desex all pets before leaving their care.
• The above mentioned cat/kitten will be desexed before being on-sold or given any to another party, unless written agreement is sought and given by Kitz2catz Maine Coons.
• The cat must be examined by a licensed veterinarian, for a health check within 72hours (3 days) after receiving your cat/kitten. Purchaser is responsible for entire vet bill. If it is found there is any serious life threatening health questions, purchaser has 48 hours after the veterinary examination in which to ask for a replacement cat/kitten, this request must be accompanying a letter from your veterinarian stating why the cat’s health is in question If purchaser fails to comply with any aspect of this agreement, purchaser forfeits any or allrights purchaser may otherwise have.
• REFUND- if any- is up to the discretion of the breeder Kitz2catz Maine Coons.
• This is a legal and binding document. All buyers agree to forward all medical records and properly signed registration papers should the cat be surrendered back to Kitz2catz Maine Coons due to breech of contract mentioned above, with no reimbursements to buyer.
GENETIC GUARANTEE
• Kitz2catz Maine Coons have a 1 year guarantee against lethal genetic or congenital defects from the date of this contract. If a kitten should die or be destroyed due to a genetic defect during this period Kitz2catz Maine Coons agrees to replace the cat/kitten with the next available cat/kitten of like quality, upon being provided with a necropsy
(autopsy) report from a licensed impartial veterinary pathologist and/or vet records indicating diagnoses from at least two examinations from different vets prior to death, the report must state the death was unquestionably a genetic defect. Kitz2catz Maine Coons will not be responsible for any shipping or transport costs.
NOTE: If you the buyer forfeits your right to a replacement cat/kitten there will be no refund.
BUYER AGREES TO AND/OR GUARANTEES TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
1.) If owner finds a problem with cat/kitten after the 72 hours (3 days) veterinarian examination, the buyer agrees to allow Kitz2catz Maine Coons full compliance to be in contact with buyer’s vet, in order to ask questions, as well as keeping up to date on health of each of our cats/kittens.
2.) If cat is found to be mistreated, neglected or ill for an unreasonable length of time when with the purchaser, Kitz2catz Maine Coons reserves the right to request buyer surrender the cat/kitten to Kitz2catz Maine Coons with no reimbursement or refund to buyer.
3.) Allergic reactions to the cat is the responsibility of the buyer, although Kitz2Catz Maines Coons will assist buyer in finding a new home for cat/kitten bred by Kitz2catz Maine Coons.
4.) Kitz2catz Maine Coons will not be held responsible for any type of common feline infections known to affect cats beyond the 72 hours (3days) health guarantee. Buyer agrees there are common infections cats often suffer, and are beyond the control of the breeder Kitz2catz Maine Coons.
5.) If the cat/kitten has been purchased as a pet only and has such been de-sexed prior to sale. The cat/kitten are currently registered as a litter, parent’s pedigrees are available at all times, registered pedigrees available for individual kittens on request.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY
Kitz2catz Maine Coons cattery’s legal liability is limited to the cost of the cat/kitten paid up to date, minus the non-refundable deposit. Please ask any contract questions prior to singing this document.
